To validate durability, SEVP rotors completed controlled thermal-cycle testing using Pagid RSC2 test pads:
- 700°C / 1,292°F: 2,000 thermal cycles on the same rotor set, with pads replaced as required.
- 900°C / 1,652°F: 75 thermal cycles with no pad replacement.
Controlled testing does not reproduce every road or track condition. Actual rotor life depends on vehicle weight, brake temperatures, pad compound, cooling, driving conditions, installation, and maintenance.
