Brake Fluid (not included)
Use Tesla-specified DOT 5.1 brake fluid (Tesla P/N 1012041-12-C). For dedicated track use, a high-temperature racing fluid such as Castrol SRF may be used at the owner's discretion
SEVP Rotor Technology
Carbon-Silicon Carbide Construction
During manufacturing, silicon is introduced into the carbon structure and reacts to form silicon carbide (SiC). The resulting ceramic composite delivers high-temperature capability, surface hardness, and resistance to thermal degradation.
Validation Testing
SEVP rotors have completed controlled thermal-cycle testing using Pagid RSC2 test pads:

Controlled testing does not reproduce every road or track condition. Actual rotor life and performance depend on vehicle weight, brake temperatures, pad compound, cooling, driving conditions, installation, and maintenance.
Installation & Care
Professional Installation
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with high-performance braking systems.
Incorrect installation, torque procedures, brake bleeding, hose routing, electronic parking-brake installation, or component compatibility may result in reduced braking performance or component damage.
Bedding / Break-In Procedure
SEVP's bedding procedure is provided with every order before delivery. Proper bedding is essential for consistent performance and rotor life.
Brake Pad Compatibility
Carbon-ceramic rotors require pad compounds specifically suited to carbon-ceramic braking surfaces. An incompatible pad may cause:
- Accelerated rotor or pad wear
- Increased noise
- Uneven transfer layers
- Reduced braking consistency
- Surface damage
Contact SEVP before using any pad compound other than those recommended for this system.
Track Use
SEVP carbon-ceramic rotors are intended for high-performance applications; however, rotor and pad life can vary substantially during track use.
Extreme brake temperatures, insufficient cooling, aggressive pad compounds, improper bedding, repeated high-speed stops, and inadequate maintenance may accelerate wear.
Surface Appearance, Noise & Pedal Feel
Carbon-ceramic composite rotors may show minor variations in surface texture, coloration, or appearance as a normal result of manufacturing and use. Cosmetic variations alone do not indicate a structural defect.
Carbon-ceramic systems may produce occasional squeal, clicking, or other operating noises, and pedal response may differ from conventional iron brake systems.
Warranty
SEVP carbon-ceramic rotors are covered by the SEVP Limited Lifetime Warranty against qualifying manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover normal wear or damage resulting from circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Improper installation or bedding
- Incorrect brake-pad selection
- Accident or impact damage
- Misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modification
- Excessive thermal damage
- Improper maintenance
- Damage caused by incompatible components

- Customs declaration: All shipments are declared at their full transaction value, as required by law.
- Refused shipments: If a shipment is refused or returned because duties, taxes, or fees were not paid, return shipping costs and the original shipping charges are non-refundable.
